ABOUT ME

Got very lucky and won a get out of jail free card from the day to day job a few years ago. Now I can live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet and try and travel to the rest. Like to dive, hunt, fish, bike in places I have never seen before and meet interesting people along the way. Got to go home every once in a while to feed the cat and check on the dog unless the dog is on the road with me. Single, no kids, one ex wife. Love the mountains and the sea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been hosting for several years now and have met nothing but quality people who have been great guests, (with one exception)...happy to "sing" for their supper around a big campfire. Lots of great conversations from perspectives not limited to the old US of A.
A very rewarding experience.

Love to read. The kindle saves my hide when traveling these days. Can take 100s of books and takes up no space.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 30 minutes in the company of a whale shark and a week diving with thousands of hammerhead, silky, galapagos, and tiger sharks in Cocos Island. Jumped from an airplane at 16,000 feet, solo, for the first time.
