About Me

I am 23-years old happy Danish girl, and my enthusiasm for new experiences with people from cultures all over the world has led me to study anthropology at Aarhus University. I live in the center of Aarhus, a big (for Danish standards) town with a rich history and culture sights. After my bachelor I wish to attend international journalism as my master, so I am currently working as a practicant at Aarhus Stiftstidende to get journalistic experience, plus I write freelance articles about everything from film too travelling local too socio-political movements. I play basketball and try to work out occasionally, and then I spend time with my boyfriend (studies medicin) and my friends. I live in my own appartment, and I love spoiling myself with a nice meal, good red wine a interesting movie or book. I try to seek inspiration in everything in do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, and I have been couchsurfing some with some amazing in the US during my sabbatical year. Staying private and meeting locals from the city you're visiting, enriches the travel experience in many ways. Finally, I have the opportunity to host, and I think it is a great way to give something back to the community of fellow travellers. It is often costly and difficult to travel, but it's Networks like these, that makes travelling more available to everyone.

Interests

I have a passion for film and series, so I use podcast, magazines and expensive cinema-tickets to keep me updated on the new movies. My Family meens everything to me, they are my rock in a (sometimes) chaotic everyday. My favourite magazine is Euroman, I love Tintin, and I like to read both fictive and factuel books that entertains me. My study takes a great deal of my time, and I enjoy getting an insight into the many different ways, in which we humans arranges patterns of mening for ourselves. I play basketball, which gives me energy and challenges me physicallly, and I love cooking, conversing and drinking beer/ wine with my friends.
