ABOUT ME

Hmm I grew up in a small town in Indiana, have worked throughout the USA (NC, AZ, MD, MN) between university academic years, lived and worked with the San Carlos Apache after university studies, and am back living in Cordoba after year working in California.

I love having movement in my life, whether that means new people or books or ideas or passions or places, because I like changing for the better. Some key interests are definitely Spanish history, learning the Spanish language, teaching English, the business of international education , writing a little poetry now and then, gaining insight from friends, dreaming of somehow displacing the terrible things humans do to one another to make way for a great future (and how I want to be a part of that).

Consider myself profoundly lucky, maybe even blessed, for the friends I've had and people I've known.

PHILOSOPHY

I am human, so anything human can not be alien to me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted overnight guests on Couchsurfing before, but am living with two other guys at the moment, so I'd love to show you around my lovely city of Cordoba. If it's a weekday count on a coffee or relaxed cervezita, on a weekend I'm definitely up for showing you a cool bar or two if I'm in town!
