Be happy!

I'm a 23 years old Lithuanian currently living in Vienna for an Erasmus internship. My goal here is not only to get professional experiences, but also to explore the city, its people as well as neighbor cities and countries. During the last few years I've traveled around a lot and realized the simple truth that cities are not only buildings but the people who live there as well.
I want to absorb as much as possible not only from Vienna, but from its surroundings as well. The places I have already seen have left me all kinds of impressions, and now I am looking forward to seeing even more. I believe that every person is an ambassador of their country, therefore I cannot wait to explore the possibilities I have on couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mentioned before, I think that every person is an ambassador of their country. I believe in friendship between different cultures and I want to spread my way of living while exploring yours. Couchsurfing is a not yet explored platform for me, but I am sure that it can be a start for great stories and even better friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love live music and I am open to all kind of styles.
I rather watch series than movies. Right now my favorite is House of Cards, I also love mainstream series like Game of Thrones, Friends (old but gold), sitcoms in general. Recently I have discovered Doctor Who; despite I am not a huge fan of fantasy, I love it more and more with every episode.
My all time favorite book is 1984 by George Orwell, and I adore Orwell as a personality too. Generally I try to read as much classics as possible - I believe that you can learn from them the most of all.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some of the languages I know: my mother tongue is Lithuanian, but I am fluent in German and also know some Russian swearwords.
Also I would love to learn some of your mother tongue - I am interested in different languages and learning a new one is one of my goals in the future.
Unfortunately I cannot host any people at the place I am currently living in, but if we stayed in touch I could show you around in Vienna (as long as I am here) or Vilnius (including a Vilnius nightlife tour).
