(I'm not the best person with presentations ahah) I moved from Lisbon to Denmark to challenge myself, have a foreigner experience and most of all meet new people! :) It's interesting how a many persons say that meeting new people is their objective, but that is simply because there is a special thing about knowing someone new, with different realities and different life experiences, and feel a connection.

I practiced Judo and Tenis but right now I just eat and drink some beers with friends. However I didn't stop completely so I still play football, basketball and volley or any kind of team sports that appear, the important is to enjoy. Btw, my next objective is to practice climbing (ironic since highest natural point in Denmark is only 170 m).

On my free time I try to explore the city, visit museums and hang around with friends. AH, and I love dancing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to meet new people with different views of the world, expand my network of friends all over the world and because I believe that by hosting people I'm giving a better experience to those people.

While traveling I don't want the tourist view, I prefer to be like a local, feeling every place and most important, know the people and their stories!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC

It's difficult to answer this, I listen to all kind of music, from indie,/alternative music to jazz and classical music, but some of my favorite bands are: Gorillaz, Mac DeMarco, BADBADNOTGOOD.
But I also listen a lot to: Radiohead, Massive Attack, The Doors, Sixto Rodriguez, Nick Drake, Metronomy, Beach House, Alt-J, Alfa Mist, Air.

MOVIES

I am also a big fan of movies. My taste as changed quite a lot in the last years. Big ass fan of Tarantino movie style, and any weird movie.
Fav. movie: Inception, In the mood for Love, The Last Year of Darkness.

BOOKS
Right now I'm trying to read the 'classics', but there's a fantasy book that I still read, The Warded Man, I have to finish the collection!
Fav. books: Sapiens a Brief History of Humankind, When Nietzsche Wept, 100 years of solitude.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a two weeks trip on a sail ship (Lord Nelson) with a 35 other persons, from Lisbon to Las Palmas, where I was the only portuguese and I didn't know anyone. It was amazing to experience it, I was able to meet new people but also had space and time to appreciate all the untouched nature around.

Bike trip along the south coast of Portugal, finding secret beach's and wild camping.

In a university project, we built a boat moved by solar energy, almost the entire team (21 people) drove to Monaco to support and see the boat competing and then we took one week to return to Portugal were we visited a lot o places and did some wild camping.

Nice spots to hang around, like nice gardens (if it's not raining) or coffes with table games (if you like it). Nice spots with own made beer and of course nice bars to dance some funky 80's music !
