COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience of traveling with CS was being hosted by couchsurfers in San Francisco - a great experience, amazing time in an great city with amazing people. I was travelling with a couch surfer friend and we were so lucky to have a great host who went far and beyond to show us the best secrets of SF.
I know my CS record is a bit dull. I hosted dozens of people through another network (an European student association) and when I travel in Europe most times I already have a host. So my interaction with CS is mostly interacting with travellers in local events to keep the traveling spirit when I'm home. I was part of the CS community when living in
Moscow and Canada and today I regularly participate in Lisbon's events.
Now I finally got my own place in Lisbon and can't wait to start giving back to this great community.
For the last two years I've been organizing a weekly CS meeting at a summer festival in Lisbon Outjazz. It's been an amazing experience meeting and interacting with hundreds of CSers so far
