ABOUT ME
Hi. I am an open minded person who has traveled to various parts of the world and experienced what it means to be lost, misunderstood, discriminated against, but most importantly have felt pure love, protection, and compassion through these journeys. I'm also a filmmaker who makes primarily social documentaries on issues and peoples who are often invisible to the mainstream media. I enjoy life and its goodies, like mountains to climb, rivers to swim, and cities to explore and subvert. I am originally from South America but have been here in the United States for almost a decade. I enjoy photography, all kinds of music, and radical political thought that ignites our consiousness.
Interests
I like taking photographs especially when I'm traveling and I'm mostly interested in portraits. I love the faces of children when they look straight to the camera. Hiking, outdoors, dancing (merengue, salsa, CUMBIA ohh Cumbia, and anything that get's me going). Love sport like Tennis, byccycles, Beach Volleyball and Soccer of course.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like all kinds of music but Pink Floyd is up there in the list. Ojos de Brujo, Chambao and Camaron de la Isla for some Flamenco. Bajofondo and Gotan Project and of course Piazolla for some Tango. And there are so many etctereras.
Movies: I love films by Buñuel, especially Viridiana or Discreet Charm of the Bouggies. I'd eat any film by the Coen Brothers. Since I'm from Chile I appreciate Jodorowsky aka Don Jodo and pioneer documentarian Patricio Guzman. Other filmmakers I have a crush on are Vicky Funari, Lourdes Portillo, Bay Area's feminists best. Y como no, como no, Campanella!!
Books: Used to love social analysis books but lately I'm more into Bolaños, Cortazar, and Gloria Anzaldua.
