ABOUT ME

Hey guys!! My name is Miguel, i'm from Lisbon, Portugal, and i'm currently studying in Vienna, Austria! I hate making self descriptions but i can say i consider myself a very open minded person, i love meeting new people and new cultures!! I can say i'm very flexible and i think i adapt myself easily to different environments!

Love football, playing guitar, singing, reading, movies and i have to say i'm huge a fan of the nightlife!! Im pretty spontaneous, love to live the moment, and i think i always try to make the best out of any situation cause i believe in life there are no mistakes, there are just less good decisions, and even with those you learn and grow!!

Through friends i heard about the CS and immediately knew that i had to sign up!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have to say i've been very lucky in all my trips cause lately i've been traveling always to places where i have friends who can host me or i travel with someone who knows someone who knows someone on the place we are going, so i'm actually very new at this!

Nevertheless i think this is just my cup of tea, its the kind of genious iniciative that connects people and gives a chance for everyone, not only young people, to get to know better this perfect world we live in!!

The closest experience i had with CS was when i was living with 6 friends in Cascais (because i studied and had an internship there, its 30km away from Lisbon), we hosted a german guy for almost a month, 3 austrian guys for 2 weeks and a brazilian guy that was traveling arroung europe for 2 months only by carpooling!! These were amazing experiences!!

Interests

So i'm a huge fan of 5 stuff: Sport Lisboa e Benfica (world's best football club, in case you are not aware), movies (i have to say that it even gets a little nerdy), music, guitar and singing (i've been playing since i was 9 and its one of my passions), nightlife (yeah, honestly....a LOT!) and of course meeting new people and places!!!
