About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To study Biology and become a scientist.
In my free time, or during my studies abroad, travel around the world, meet interesting people and places, merging in the culture of each country and having fun!
ABOUT ME
I consider myself fun and respectful, an easygoing person :)
Since kid that I camp in the wild with my parents, stargazing, making campfires and simply merging with the nature around.
I also have a passion for the sea and anything sea-related since I grew close to my father's boats, in a fishing village in Portugal (Santa Luzia-Tavira).
I do scuba-diving (20m deep), snorkling and a bit of surf.
I love to travel, to meet new people, to meet new places, smells, tastes and art.
I believe that my eyes are windows to the world and the more worlds I'm able to expose my eyes, the bigger my inner world will become.
I'm curious about the world around me, and eager to explore it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing so that I can have a stronger contact with the locals and with the reality of the place I'm visiting/living.
The same goes if I'm hosting, I'll allways try to give you the best of Tavira and Santa Luzia (Algarve) and show you the real chill !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In São Tomé, in Santana's bay one day I was there with my brother and the tide was low so there was a stone path exposed that would lead us to an unknown side of the bay...
And so we went, to the unknown...
The sea never stopped attacking the dark basaltic rocks and we went fearlessly forward until the path made of stone turned into a huge hole with water raging in.
I stopped and thought, I can climb over this... But, suddenly two little curious kids that were staring at us said "It's dangerous! Come, Follow us! ".
They were locals and my father allways told me, locals know what's dangerous or what's not... So, we followed them climbling a cliff just by grabbing the exposed roots of tropical trees.
I remember this clearly, as I was climbing I turned around and stood there, windbathing staring at the wide wide open of the Atlantic Ocean, sparkling with joy and the sound of the waves bellow.
Just amazingly unbelievable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn about the world around me, understand nature and it's fenomena.
As an observer of nature I also like to share this knowledge and experience that I'm able to retain.
If the person in front of me shows curiosity I will do the best I can for expanding that feeling and yet cracking the problem (this mean: if you ask me directly I will nerd out on what I know about biology).
Can also teach some Portuguese meals or words.
If you come to my place you could also learn how to snorkle or ride a boat.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my stories and life experiencies, I can share culture and knowledge, and I can share music!
I can share a traditional portuguese meal ;)
I can share fun and drinks!
