About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To redesign the world. I loath stability - I aim to create, no matter what. My travels are both physical and "spiritual" if you like. To travel is, I believe, a way to rediscover the world by knowing new lands and the people who live in it.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Lisboa (Portugal's capital), the 20th August 1978. A gorgeous lion, I barely could stand myself - my amazing inner light was blinding me already!!! When I was 5 I went to Mozambique where I stayed for about 4 or 5 years. I studied there in italian and came back to Portugal where I spent my time doing nothing. It was a fine bliss. I was sent to school for my miseducation, and, finally back to freedom, some years later, I found out that my main interest in life was to meet new places and to discover the people I come across with (I fortunately met some places and some people already), to learn everything I can, and to create (music [I'm a fair guitar player], drawings [I almost do something nice], writings [I can wirte my own name in several languages back and forward with one eye closed and one hand behind my back], advertisements [I can promote anytihing, from a toothbrush to a screwdriver, except myself]). However, a strange twist of Fate (very unfair, naturally) is making me face the dulness of a desk job, but soon (I am quite sure of it) I will be able to throw it all away and to replace such dulness for something more thrilling and compensating: the daily pleasure of tasting what is new. This is who I am - and what about you?

PHILOSOPHY

Arts, Women, Freedom of speech - Love them to the bone!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew about couch surfing thorugh a friend who is very pleased with this network. I find the concept of CS amazing and I'm glad to have the opportunity of making part of it, as I am looking forward to be able (which is unfortunaltely not the case at the moment) to offer back to the community what I am now asking from it. Thanks for letting me in, I do hope it goes bigger as time goes by. Long live CS!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Things I've done (and felt) that made my life worth living: I loved and was loved, I swam across a small river, from one edge to the other (it wasnt easy, it wasn't wise, but it felt so good!), I momentarily flew a small plain, I've lived amongst other cultures and learned something from them, I took a bath, completly naked, with 10 or 15 more friends, in plane winter, at night in a lonely beach, I have been in Machu Pichu!!!!and, even more amazing... I exist! It may not seem much to you, but to me, it made a difference...

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn everything about people and arts. This is what I look for, and a little bit of this is also what I can offer to others.
