About Me

I am a Venezuelan living in the US in order to get a better education. I am very extrovert, interested in technology, and intrigue about understanding different cultures. I studied in a Boarding School, which had a student body representing 75 countries, while I was pursuing my International Baccalaureate's diploma. I met a lot of awesome people there that are currently living everywhere in the world. I have more than one friend in every continent. How cool is that? Anyways, I really enjoy meeting new people, hanging out, and exploring new things. I am very open to doing extravagant things and understanding new cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my many goals is to have connections with people from all over the world, and what best way than traveling to different countries? As I explained in my description, I really like to meet new people and get adventurous in life. And I believe that the greatest way for doing that is by living in the same culture as other people, in other words sharing ideas and experiences with people from different cultures. You can't really get that by staying at a hotel, because you don't get to have the same proximity and openness with people.

Interests

I really enjoy talking about experiences, listening to Latino and Pop music, exploring new things that I have never tried before, traveling around the world, understanding new cultures, learning new things, among other interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy latino/hispanic music. Action movies, such as Fast and Furious, the Hunger Games, Transformers, the Transporter, etc. Scary movies, and the classical Harry Potter. I've read books, but I am not a big reader, shamefully.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think there is just one amazing thing I've done. I have paragliding in Venezuela, enjoy amazing adventures with Cruises in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, went to a completely naked spa with different saunas and pools in Germany, experienced the night life and the amazing culture that Cyprus has to offer, seen the atrocities that war creates in Lebanon, experienced economic crisis in Venezuela, share the swiss life in Basel with a friend, had the most amazing montaditos (small sandwiches) in Madrid, Ski in the most amazing slopes in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Canada, and New York, enjoyed the most amazing time in Cancun, Mexico with friends and family during the day with its culture and at night with its bars and clubs, and many other things that I am willing to share in person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to teach and share my Venezuelan culture and my experiences around the world. Specially living in the USA and studying in a boarding school and going to University there. I would also like to learn more about different cultures, and the amazing experiences that other people have had in their life.

What I Can Share with Hosts
