I am a personal care assistant (PA)/translator/graphic designer/actor from Slovenia living in the UK. Yeah, I like to keep myself busy. My addiction with Monty Python, Rowan Atkinson, Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie help me keep my [in]sanity intact.

Two of my ambitions regarding languages are to finally finish learning French and Japanese! It's been taking me too long by now :D

I... Love... To cook. If I can learn a new dish to prepare, that's always a plus in my book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently working in the UK as a live-in personal care assistant which involves A LOT of traveling around England and Wales, because the job involves rotations from client to client. This way I have the opportunity to travel a lot and meet a lot of new people. This also means that during my time off I like to explore different places in the UK or in case of traveling abroad, anywhere else in the world! Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to keep meeting new people while still staying on a budget :)

Interests

I'm starting to find appreciation on travelling and learning new things. I am especially fond of nature walks.

Japan (especially it's countryside) is one of the places I would love to go and explore a bit more closely. I don't know yet why I'm so fascinated with their culture. Would love to go there and find that out.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not hold favorites anymore, there is much good stuff out there! Regarding books, most things with fantasy will do, especially if they involve a manic luggage trying to figure out the world it lives in. Movies, heck, if it's a good production with a solid story, I'm sold, but I can go on about Star Wars forever. Music is a wild beast with me, in one moment I'll be listening to Abba, in the other Haggard, the next I'll put on some Spice Girls and go wild to Wannabe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to leave Slovenia in order to start a job in a WHOLE new field.
