About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To grow up..to live deliberately, to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life.. I don't know anymore. Too many missions to choose from :D

ABOUT ME

Too much to say, too little to understand, I am sometimes crazy, at other times so normal that it drives me crazy. I want to do so many things, to see so much, that I don't know where to begin. So I'm letting, maybe more than I should, other things decide the road ahead. Coincidences, circumstances, ideas and temporary moods... We'll see

PHILOSOPHY

"I can resist anything but temptation"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Beginner, just starting, never did it, ..i'm repeating myself

Interests

Piano, Guitar, Deserts, Movies and books, Mountains and Sea, People...All in all, knowledge
My interests in 2012 - i began my tango, salsa, rumba, well, my dance lessons, archery lessons, i'm preparing for the motorcycle exam, so i can sell my car and pack my future, beautiful, black chopper with a huge backpack for the trips ahead; i'm into caves now, getting rid of my claustrophobia, there's something about the heroes facing the darkness, the lose of balance, your own fears just closing in on you, well, i drifted into cheap poetry here, but my favorite ps3 game is Dante's Inferno, so that says it all :))
in 2013 i am sure to change my interests and moods. i do that

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock music especially. Then classical, Mazzy Star and Damien Rice type of music, when feeling dreamy, Hans Zimmer is a genius, Jethro Tull and experimental music...lately, fleet foxes, avenged sevenfold, raconteurs, gershwin, astor piazzolla and gotan project.

SF books lately, Philip K. Dick... Read Gargoyle, Andrew Davidson and fell in love with it. Haruki Murakami, Ryu Murakami, Salman Rushdie and John Fowles, dostoievski- I poured their entire work into my mind. Eugen Ionescu and Mircea Eliade, Romanian writers that deserve international love. Do not forget the poems, Sylvia Plath and Emily Dickinson..ohh, and theatre, not to read it, but to witness it :D

Movies of every kind- old, noir, Oliver Hirschbiegel movies, Martin Scorsese and Leonardo Di Caprio made for each other, like Johnny Depp and Tim Burton. documentaries, when i'm feeling serious and ready for battle against ignorance

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping. Loving. Cooking and getting it right :-P

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know what I could teach. Something. I'm sure I could tell you one thing you didn't know. Polenta in Romanian is "mamaliga", it even sounds funny, it substitutes bread in the rural regions and is very delicious with onion, cheese and milk. For example :D
As for learning, I'm all ears and heart.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Greece, Italy, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Romania, United States
