About Me

I quit my boring 9 to 5 job in 2017 (basically after 10 years of studying and preparing for this job) without knowing what I will do for a living. I worked as a ski instructor for the winter, then I left to Colombia for 6 weeks to teach English to kids in deprived areas. Then I started working as a tour guide in Europe.

I have yet to understand my purpose in life, there are few things I know for sure about myself. I do know that I will not settle again with doing something I don't like and I am doing my best to be an example of a happy person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe traveling is more than just photo-hunting for places and landmarks - people and their stories are what make us understand a place we visit. And everywhere we go, we leave a part of ourselves. I want to see as much of the world as possible, discover amazing people, incredible places, breathtaking stories, and, most importantly, myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love latino music (especially bachata), but I listen to all sort of music, depending on my mood.

I have a passion for characters who go through a major change and become better people, even when the odds are totally against them (such as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables or Edmond Dantès in The Count of Monte Cristo). I love to read successful people's biographies, adventure books (such as Walking the Nile: Levison Wood). I also spend a significant amount of time studying self-development books and working hard to become a speed-reader.

Movies? Twisted-ending ones, good comedies (even though they seem to be rarer), time-travel or teleporting movies (one of my favourites is Jumper - Will A Sequel Ever Happen?), super-heroes, geniuses (such as Good Will Hunting), dramas (even better if it's a real story).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to juggle and give language learning and memory improvement tips.

Cooking is another one of my passions, I know some good recipes, I am open to learn many more!

I would love to share my passion for sports (volleyball, football), but also for dancing (especially bachata - I dream to become a salsa/bachata instructor in a few years).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook a tasty meal. I am a handy man, if there's anything that needs to be fixed let me know, maybe I can help! I have many stories from my travels. I can also share language learning and memory improvement hacks.
