About Me
Hi!
I grew up in Bulgaria and after graduating from High School moved to Germany to study Engineering. At the moment I live and study in Berlin, together with my brother, who is also a student here! We also have a sister. You could say it was never boring at home while growing up. Avid travelers when the time is right.
I am traveling from Berlin to Göteborg, Sweden in summer 2021, between the 26th of July and the 3rd of August. I will be working for Volvo for the summer, in the Trucks Technology department!
Then in October, I am doing an exchange semester in Seoul, South Korea.
Afterwards let's see where the wind blows.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The main reason I want to try Couchsurfing is to travel the world and meet real people who share their stories, experiences and experience real human problems, as all of us do! It is an incredible opportunity to meet a local who would know those little treasures in their city way better than you, me, or any mainstream tourist guidebook out there. I feel you get out of that "tourist-bubble" sort of feeling when you couchsurf.
I am incredibly thankful to the people who have decided to welcome travelers into their own homes!
Interests
▫️In my dormitory in Berlin, I opened a "social workshop" for bicycles where I try to help my dormitory community repair their bikes.
▫️I do not have a TV, but TED talks are pretty nice.
▫️Furniture hacking. The end result is usually function over form though.. Still I have modified my dormitory furniture so that upon moving out, the modifications can be removed without any trace since they are no-drill attachments.
▫️Sustainable gardening & composting - for a couple of seasons now my grandma has been using home-made compost!
▫️I really want to know more about textiles and textile engineering
▫️I am interested in other people's areas of knowledge!!
▫️Other than that,
- diy
- electronics
- reading
- biology
- science
- sustainability
- space
- solar energy
Music, Movies, and Books
Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Rodriguez, The Doors, (post-love-songs)The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Tame Impala, some hip-hop, quite a lot of jazz, soul and bossa nova, some of this and that; Basically stuff that people have shared with me over the years
Books: 1984, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451 and a lot of books i don't know i like yet.
Movie classics like One flew over a Cuckoo's nest, Fight Club, Into The Wild, Spirited Away, 12 Angry Men - which actually ranks very high on my favorite movies list, The Intouchables and some indie movies; not really into the over-CGI, over-action movies of today.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I have been using Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom and Photoshop for a while now.
So maybe I could help you with that! Show you how this and that works, how to stitch together an idea or just simply edit a photo, color grade a video or something in that direction.
