I am working as a software developer in DB2 security at IBM Canada and I am proud University of Toronto alum. Prior to immigrating to Canada in 2010 with my parents I lived in Romania.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling. I'm lucky to have 15 days of vacation per year, as well company and national holidays, and a flexible work-at-home company policy.

Some more experienced friends recommended couch surfing and I wanted to give it a shot as a means to save on travel expenses. I also love the idea of connecting with locals while travelling because it can truly make for a great experience. Plus the idea of making friends with people all over the world is really cool!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies, now that's a tough one. But if I were to pick out a top 3 of the top of my head I would pick Gladiator, The Godfather, The Prestige.

I listen to hip hop music. Some of my favorite artists (in no particular order) are Eminem, The Game, Kendrick Lamar, Dr Dre, Drake, Jay Z, Fetty Wap, Kanye West.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year was the first time I visited the United States. Myself and two friends drove all the way to Miami which was a one-in-a-kind experience. I can share this story in more detail because I feel it doesn't do itself justice by writing it here.
