Show me another person who can eat a lot of food and still not put on weight. I came to Austin, TX to find some gun slinging cowboys but just cant find them anywhere. Instead i found awesome warm people who love partying and like to keep this city interesting. They have their own special food too.

I grew up in a place called Bangalore in India and you can call it the Silicon Valley of India if you like. The first version of myself that was released into this world was that of an engineer. After digging around a ton of software and creating some magical stuff, I moved on to get a version upgrade on myself in this beautiful city called Austin. I added a new business degree to myself and some new cultural experiences in this foreign country that has been my home for the past few years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People, places and experiences. I guess that sums up everything CS is a place for. I usually end up going on impulsive travels. CS does not work well for this but i try.

Interests

I like impulsive plans that involve travelling to a new place and figuring out what to do there. This is a great way to reach out to locals and to dig out the hidden treasures the place has to offer.

Pro tip: Avoid doing this during Christmas. Most places are closed and finding people is hard.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I just dance to everything.
Movies: I have watched movies from almost every language. So the list is huge.
Books: I have never really been a book guy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 10 day Himalayan trek can leave you speechless when you reach a peak. Trust me. I have been through it.

A boat trip to see Niagara falls up close can also leave you speechless. Trust me. My phone went through water damage when I was there and i couldnt speak to anyone after that :)
