For me, the point of travelling is not getting somewhere, but the process of being on the road. That's why I love hitchhiking and not planning my trips too much.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted and was hosted by people even before joining CS. When hitchhiking through Poland and Ukraine, I ended up finding a host in every new destination - just ask people who seem to have a similar lifestyle to yours and you're sure to end up getting new friends and a bed to sleep in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tried to escape from a police escort in Pakistan and ended up crashing my motorbike into a roadblock. All they did was laugh!

Drinking water from mud pools for 2 days while hitchhiking in Cambodia from Mondulkiri to Ratanakiri and having lost my way in the jungle.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's always difficult for me if I think about what kind of things I am able to do well and teach others - it just has to come naturally and when I'm there or you're here, then we'll definitely work something out.
If you happen to have an old Russian or Finnish bicycle, then you can be sure, that I'm able to show you how to fix everything on it.
