International student seeking to discover the world as a whole ("People are the essential part of the place" - like a traditional saying from my country would suggest). I could say many things about myself, but a popular belief would be more accurate for this environment: we are close to the average of the closest 5 people around us.
In this respect, I have to say that all my friends are older than me and we all have the same goal: to enjoy the life as it should be enjoyed, in a beutifull and fulfilling way. Now, here comes the interesting part: every people understands this differently.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a romanian student based in Netherlands for my bachelor studies, I want to enjoy this years and at the same time to find my soul place. How some would say, the practice is the mother of learning :). As I said before, my main goal is to enjoy the life at its maximum potential. My perception about a fulfilling life is very different from others. More specifically, the desire for knowledge is my driver. There are many ways to gain knowledge, but my favorites ones are included in a travelling experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, some friends would just say I am that old option from internet browsers with "I'm feeling lucky today". From EDM to Lofi or from Tupac to Mozzart, I can literally enjoy almost every genre, depending on my mood.

I can't say I have a favorite movie, but I really feel the ones with Roberto Begnini. Besides that, my favorite actor alive is Al Pacino.

My favorite book, by far, is "Ronquerolles castle" by Frederic Soulie, but as a person with a big passion for economy and international business, now I am strugling with Adam Smith's "Wealth of Nations".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a research project on stochastic probabilistic models of the interest rates impact on the transnational corporations.

Besides that, I surfed in the Atlantic Ocean this summer and, in that way, I realized why surfing is a lifestyle for many people around the globe.
