Hello.

I’m Miho.

I used CS back in university when I was a student back in the states, travelling around places.

Right now I’m living in Tokyo.

Went to the states for university. During my time there I’ve also gone around countries solo backpacking. Unfortunately I havnt got to travel enough inside the states… I personally prefer to stay at my destination for a longer period, approx a month so I could get to know the culture, local people, language and more!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING really helped me and opened up doors, helping me to travel around places and meeting many diverse people.
Currently I havnt got the opportunity to travel around much as I used to, but now I hope I could meet and help other fellow couchsurfers who are coming into Japan🇯🇵

From meeting many surfers and being both a host and a surfer myself. I truly believe how we bring our own kind together and many wisdoms are shared and commonly experienced. When I get to meet those people, those are such precious moments☺️

I like to go see movies and theatres! Nothing specific, but I also like to go to small theatre to watch indie/minor works too🎥

Went backpacking in Morocco. I really loved their tea culture. Lots lots of sugar😋I also got to spend time in Essarouia where the beach was very beautiful. And lots of nature. Just so much to appreciate and cherish, made me realize a lot of things.

I’ve also experienced workaway and vipassanna, highly recommend👍

I could teach some basic Japanese! I used to tutor and also have tandem experience during my stay overseas! Always helps to learn language from talking and discussing with someone😊

I could share some basic cultural knowledge about Japan, although I myself have been quite away from Japan so I think it’ll bring some new perspectives👀
If you want to know Japanese, I used to do some tutoring and tandem! So shouldnt be too hard lol.

And just making friends and sharing stories in general😆
