One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled almost 1,000km in the sub-Saharan desert in Senegal with a compass on a small motorcycle (Yamaha AG125) when I lived there as a community development agent for two years in a small town among Peul/Fulani nomads and semi-nomads.
Walked about 1,300km on the 88-Temple Buddhist pilgrimage path with a tent in Shikoku, Japan.
2,000-km motorcycle tour in France and another motorcycle tour in Turkey and the Balkan Peninsula all the way to back to France :)
Teach, Learn, Share
When I have a guest in my home country, I usually like to take them around to sites off-the-beaten paths and enjoy some time with them when I have time.
I can also teach some Japanese, and if the guests are interested in learning Japanese vegetarian/vegan (Sho-jin) cooking, I can teach them that, too :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach any language I can speak or Japanese/French cuisine if they are intersted. I can teach them how wo prepare shojin (Japanese Buddhist vegan cuisine), too!
