About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To untangle oneself from life's worries and appreciate the beauty of different cultures, people, and places.
ABOUT ME
Mihran: I'm a geographer by training. I like lively conversations and new experiences.
Amanda: I'm an environmental studies and water resources person. I also love to write and hope to make a living from it some day, while still helping the earth.
PHILOSOPHY
Every day is one worth living.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are both new to couch surfing. Most of our travels previously have included staying at hostels.
Hostels are a great way to meet fellow travellers. However, we'd also love the opportunity to participate in Couchsurfing to learn from the locals and create friendships.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have hosted many close friends but nothing couchsurfing related.. yet!
Interests
Mihran: I like to learn languages. I recently began to learn to code (computer programming) and I really enjoy it. I'm fascinated by history and international relations. I also enjoy good food and good wine.
Amanda: I love spending time in nature and meeting new friends. I'm also fascinated by people's stories and I like to learn new perspectives on life. I've been slowly writing a fantasy novel for the past 3 years and (now that I'm an unemployed nomad) I'm happy to be working on my project with focus. Oh... and good food and good wine is always an interest of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amanda: I studied Marine Biology on the Galapagos Islands and the experience for me was like paradise. I feel lucky to have been to such a special place and to have witnessed such unique creatures.
