About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make every day an adventure.... and stop saying things that are really cheesy:)
ABOUT ME
I am a psychology student in the US (Michigan). I love traveling and getting to know new cities/towns. I am in Nice, France right now for the summer, working on my research and my French. I love live music, being near natural beauty, and meeting new people.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind to others, be up for anything, be fun and enthusiastic, try and make people laugh, don't take things too seriously, try and not care about being cool, check yourself before you wreck yourself, REALLY try not to be a tool...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined. I am traveling at the moment, but when I return to Michigan I am ready and willing to host! Right now I am hoping to meet fellow couch surfers while traveling...
Interests
Travelling, discovering new bands, psychology, discussing politics and anything having to do with the news, learning about other cultures and countries, dancing, singing/listening to bad karaoke, taking long aimless walks through new cities.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Almost Famous, Royal Tennenbaums, Constant Gardener, Stranger than Fiction, Zoolander, My Cousin Vinny, Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Music: Depends on my mood, but I am always into Motown classics (Otis Redding, Aretha, Four Tops, Smokey), folky rock (Fleetwood Mac, Ryan Montbleau Band, Pete Yorn, Rufus Wainwright), bluesy rock (Ben Harper, Fiona Apple, James Morrison), and stuff that's a little quirky (the Bird and the Bee, MGMT, Kate Nash)
Books: One Hundred Years of Solitude, House of Spirits, Prince of Tides, Agatha Christie mysteries
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the coolest thing I have seen are the temples and pyramids of Egypt. Spent three days on a sailboat floating up the Nile. It was the coolest trip ever.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I know a good bit about the psychology of discrimination and prejudice, I also can make a cool oragami box and an awesome homemade macaroni and cheese.
Learn: I would love to learn some cool new delicious recipe. I am also dying to become decent at the guitar (I have one that I can't really play)
