About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find the lovers, the dreamers and sometimes me.
ABOUT ME
I'm a film and public relations professional living in Los Angeles for the past 3 years. I'm a huge cinefile and enjoy traveling for leisure, working at film and music festivals, seeing family, sights and food. Stage performances, exhibits, films and music are all strong reasons for me to venture outside of LA.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have done some couch surfing in both Austin, TX and Tokyo, Japan while visiting friends or working at film and music festivals. I always enjoy staying with people who come from different walks of life... a shower is always a plus too!
Interests
Having a huge interest in film I tend to go to screening or premieres when I have the availability. I enjoy volunteering at different events and human rights groups as well. Any excuse to go to the beach I will usually take. Any excuse to try new food and I'm there.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books- I'm currently reading Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly
Music- My taste is pretty eclectic which is why I'm a festival enthusiast. But let's stick to the classics--Chopin, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, more Motown than you will ever understand, Velvet Underground, The Kinks, Neutral Milk Hotel and maybe some Blues Travelers for the road, Architecture in Helsinki, Red Hot Chili Peppers,Tally Hall, Tilly and the Wall, Kimbra, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis but mainly just crying to Smokey Robinson songs... anything that I can do karaoke too on a bad day.
Movies-Another tangent that can go on forever....let's just say for today I find the movie You're Next to be a hilarious family home invasion film.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently returned from backpacking in Thailand with an old high school friend.
She told me "Come with me to Thailand"
I said "I can't. I'm working on projects, everything is stressful, my hands are in so many baskets...."
She said "Come ride elephants with me in Thailand."
I said " Where do I buy tickets?"
I can say without a doubt that feeding, riding and bathing elephants in Chiang Mai was one of my favorite experiences I've ever had.
