Hello, I'm Mika! I recently moved back to Austin, TX after living in Osaka, Japan for a year! I backpacked around Europe and Asia for a year back in 2018 and did a lot of couchsurfing and WWOOFing (volunteer farming). It was an amazing, exciting adventure and I'd love to get back into it! All of the hosts I stayed with were such interesting, kind people who showed me many different ways of living and seeing the world. I really cherish the experiences and memories I have with everyone.

I'd say I'm a pretty easy going person who's down to hang out as much or as little as you want!

Some things I love: Muay Thai, cooking, eating and drinking with people, dancing to music, being outside, reading, old movies, swimming and much more!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I love seeing how people live their everyday lives in different places and getting to be a part of that for a moment. I also think it's so beautiful to have trust in random people to live and spend time together randomly. Also building a community of people around the world that I would love to visit again or have come visit me is a beautiful thing :)
