Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking for community, and when I find that I like to get involved. I think people ought to do that when they've been blessed with the experiences, love and growth that comes with living, knowing and loving a group of people.

Interests

Hiking, whitewater anything, camping, sitting under trees etc.
Reading, writing, imagining that I have the powers of the Avatar.
Cooking, EATING.
Urban exploration!
Browsing in markets.
Old buildings.
People.
Dancing, drinking. Dancing while drinking? Cumbia, hip-hop, punk, moshing, hightops, chacos, tacos.
Dragons.
Languages, being polite, giving gifts, remembering.
Learning!

Music, Movies, and Books

Gone With the Wind, most anything Phillipea Gregory or Tom Robbins- Jitterbug! Villa Incognito!, The Odyssey, The Inheritance Cycle, Dune, Island of the Blue Dolphins, The Hobbit. I think he was just a bit too wordy in LOTR... sacrilege, I know!
Are You My Mother? The Giving Tree, The Little Prince, The Five Chinese Brothers, Felicity of the American Girls, Grandfather's Journey, and more.
Just about anything, I suppose. If it's written, I will read.

Anything Disney, HAYAO MIYAZAKI, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Twilight Zone, Star Trek TOS and TNG. My allegiance is with James Tiberius though. Alien, and all subsequent sequels, Being Human (British version), Sherlock, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, The Office, Anchorman, The Graduate (mostly because of Simon and Garfunkel. Well, and everything else too. It was just a great movie.), Dragonheart, Warriors of Virtue, The Adventures of Baron Munchaussen, Hero, Monty Python's everything, etc.

As for music, that list, too, is too exhaustive to put down. I guess it's whatever I feel like listening too.
