Hi! My name is Mikaela Feher, I’m 23, I’m an advanced comunication student (especifically cinema) and passionate for sports. 

Fan of knowing people, new places, lenguages, cultures. 
I considered myself as an open-minded and extroverted person; I enjoy making new friends and it’s really easy for me, confidence it’s my thing. 

Sports have given the opportunity to travel and knowing people for everywhere, and I want to do it every time I can.

Fanática de conocer gente, nuevos lugares, idiomas, culturas. Soy una persona abierta y muy extrovertida, me es fácil hacer nuevos amigos, entro rápido en confianza. 

El deporte me ha dado la oportunidad de viajar, cosa que ame desde el primer momento, y siempre me quedo con ganas de mas. 


Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my first time traveling by my own around Europe, I feel kind of lost, and I love this feeling, this is me and no-one else this time; I want to find myself and see what the world have to offer.

I would like to get out of my comfort zone, knowing new people, but most of all live a different culture from the inside, with local people.
My friends widely recommend this experience, so I thought, why not? And I give the chance of knowing a little bit of my gorgeous country, Uruguay. 



Es la primera vez que viajo sola por Europa, un poco perdida pero con ganas de descubrir, encontrarme, dejar que el mundo me sorprenda.
Me encantaría conocer gente nueva, salir de la comodidad de siempre, pero sobre todo vivir desde adentro otras culturas, por eso elijo esta oportunidad que tantos me han recomendado; dándoles también la oportunidad, si tienen el interés, de conocer un poco de lo maravilloso que es Uruguay.

Music, Movies, and Books

Talking about music, I don’t hace favourite bands, music have always joined my mood, and in some cases the other way around.
But if I have to choose, The Lumineers and George Ezra are driving me crazy this last time; but as I said, it’s relative.

With books I’m very special; I’m a big fan of Greek and Roman mitology; but I also have a huge interest by medicine, inheritance of my parents, both doctors, so I love to read about it with my parents. 



En cuanto a la música, no tengo preferencias especificas, la música siempre acompaña mi estado de ánimo, y en algunas ocasiones, sucede al revés.
Pero de tener que elegir, The Lumineers y George Ezra me tienen fascinada este ultimo tiempo. Pero como dije, es relativo.
Con la lectura soy muy especial, soy fanatica de los libros de mitología Griega y Romana; y también tengo un gran interés por la medicina, heredada de mis padres, ambos doctores, por lo que me gusta leer de estos temas cuando estoy con ellos. 


One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most incredible thing I’ve ever done was reach two big dreams; they have to do with my passions: sports and traveling. In 2016 I went to Hungary, to play a beach handball world championship and I knew Budapest, country where my grandparents born, and they transmited their love for their beloved country. 



La cosa mas increíble que he hecho/participado, tiene que ver con mis dos grandes pasiones: el deporte y viajar. En 2016 cumplí dos sueños: ir a un Mundial de Handball Playa y conocer Hungría, país de donde vienen mis abuelos y siempre me transmitieron un gran amor hacia el. 


Teach, Learn, Share

When I was 11, I wrote a story for the school, where I talked about my self as the main character going to an international beach handball competitio, and thirteen years later here I am, I’ve lived it twice. Fascinating. Check for my to do things.

I don’t want to sound as a Cliche, but if toy really want something, I guess that the only thing that you can do is make it happen. 


Cuando tenía 11 años, escribí un cuento para la escuela, donde me relataba siendo la protagonista de un viaje deportivo a nivel mundial de este deporte - handball playa-, y, trece años después ya lo he vivido dos veces, realmente es algo fascinante. Sin caer en frases armadas o clichés, creo que si uno se propone las cosas, pueden suceder de la mejor manera.


What I Can Share with Hosts

The only thing that I hace to offer is good vibes, fun, a looot of stories about what I’ve lived, in my country and abroad.
The only thing that I have clear is that I want to learn and keep knowing the world through people. I would like to have hosts that enjoy to make my experiences richer.



Puedo ofrecer buena onda, diversión, y muchos cuentos e información sobre lo que he vivido, tanto en mi país como en mis experiencias de viajera, las cuales busco ampliar.
