ABOUT ME

NOTE: As of late because of the sheer number of requests, I'd like you to not send one earlier than 2 weeks before your trip. I'll probably not see it until much later otherwise.
I also try to respond to everyone, but sometimes I only have time for a "decline".
Maximum number of nights is in general 2 :)
When requesting to stay, also please write what your favourite animal is.

I am a happy engineer currently living in Stockholm with my girlfriend, trying my best to teach cars to see. I love skiing, hiking, biking, and the vast forests home in Sweden. A good book is always nice to bring and I like most genres even though I prefer the ones that leaves you thinking afterwards. Completely different are movies where I am unable to watch anything that does not have a happy ending.
As a traveller I am quite calm, always up for a fun time but can find comfort in solitude as well, whether it is high up in the Swiss mountains or at a lake in the forest somewhere.
Having me as a guest should be a problem free experience, as I want to be as easy to deal with as possible :)

As a host I am more than glad if the opportunity to do something together arises. Whether it is while cooking a meal, sharing a beer, watching a movie, playing a game, baking something or just hanging in the couch, it is always fun to hear someone's story. Sometimes that opportunity is not present, and that is also fine. As a traveler I know that you sometimes just need to rest and get some well deserved alone time in the evenings :)
Oh, and I gladly accept last-minute requests if I have the possibility!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have almost only experience in hosting people and I love it. To meet all these very different people is amazing and allows me to experience some traveling at home.

Books: There are too many books that I like to write about, but my all-time favourite is Momo by Michael Ende.

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Love Actually, Inception, Amelie, the Lorax, Notting Hill, Moon, all studio Ghibli movies.

Music: I can listen to most things that are not Metal and R&B, but Indie pop and 60's music are my favourite genres.
