I haven't traveled with Couchsurfing in several years, but I am at a juncture in my life where I am uprooting and traveling alone for the first time, and I would love to meet new people along my journey. I recently went through a lot of upheaval in my personal life, and am on the road looking for the next place to call home. I am hoping to stop at various places throughout the western part of the country to ultimately decide where I will end up living.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the Couchsurfing network and have met some of the most interesting and lovely people that I know on here! Since I am roadtripping through many places where I don't have personal connections, it would be great to learn about places through the eyes of locals already established there.

Kilimanjaro, stood on the Eiffel Tower next to my best friend, sky dived in Hawaii, kayaked through 8' swells in the Bering Sea, zip lined above the rainforest canopy in Honduras, trekked in the Himalayas of Nepal, Burning Man in the Nevada Black Rock Desert, worked for a Burmese human rights organization on the Thai-Burma border, climbed my favorite mountain in my home of the Aleutian Islands.
