Why I’m on Couchsurfing

How you act - you will be treated back. I met so many kind people on this platform and I was overhelmed by their generosity. Really happy to meet kind open-minded fun people. I used to be 'prolonged weekend backpacker' and was chasing European capital cities during the weekends. Now I still travel with just a backpack but I prefer to spend weeks in the location to properly inhale the culture. I find CS ideal for this purpose and it is very helpful to stay night or three with someone local who knows area. Happy to host back when I build a house but that is so far in the stars.
