Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unofficially? extensive!

Officially? a little bit in the Azores a few years ago. Which was brilliant:) .. I haven't travelled as much in recent years, and kinda feel it's a good time to return some favours to a world that has looked after me time and time again.

Music, Movies, and Books

It has to be 'On the road' by Jack Keroac ... I read it before driving up the East coast of Australia back in the day.
I'm also a bit of a Sci Fi bum , so the Neuromancer by William Gibson would rate very highly - I probably read it 5 times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Monkey dance, Indonesia.
Nias Wave, Indonesia.
Beef Rendang, Indonesia.
Lotus Bahai temple, India
Barrier Reef, Australia
West Coast of Scotland
Teach kids music in Bristol

Teach, Learn, Share

Could teach: Piano, Saxophone, English ...bike maintenence?!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A stunning location 6 miles from the Historic, Arty, Musical City of Bristol.

I live semi-off-grid surrounded by fields and woodland. I have plenty of space for Camping and lots of tents.. so you don't get a couch, but you do get everything else, including cooking facilities and bikes you can borrow to get into town. I often go in, so can help with transport.

I'm currently renovating an antique boat, so if that's something that would be of interest to you, you would be very welcome to pitch in.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Fiji, Morocco, Senegal

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, France, Germany, United Kingdom
