CURRENT MISSION

Travelling to Barcelona from 17th to 24th of August. Main goal to play experimental music gigs, to get to know the city a little bit and meet beautiful people.

ABOUT ME

25 y.o. Musician. Finnished bachelor of music in Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy, now studying masters of contemporary music and free improvisation. I speak quite fluent english and a little bit of spanish, because i lived in Asturias for 5 months in the Erasmus programme. I play tuba and drums. Friendly, talkative, kind person, open to adventure. Tolerant to every person. Understanding.

PHILOSOPHY

Every person is so different and unique. Playing music with different people proves that 100 percent.

I was couchsurfing when I was 18 in Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland.

Interests

I'm a musician. I play tuba and drums. I play in a klezmer balkan music group now for almost 8 years. Also played in different experimental music ensembles.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am crazy in love with experimental art, avant-garde. Also different folk, world music. I recorded two KLEZMER music albums, so klezmer music is really close to my heart. Favourite movie has to be Cinema Paradiso, I always cry when seeing this one. Favourite book Hesse “Siddhartha”.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitch-hiked from Lithuania to Croatia border in Hungary when I was 18 without any money, just playing in streets.

I know a lot about jewish culture and music. I can talk about those things a lot.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will for sure give my new CD as a gift. Also I love cooking, would love to share some lithuanian or even jewish cuisine with you.
