About Me

I am a 24 year old young professional from Redondo Beach, CA who is currently working and living in Palma De Mallorca. I decided to move here a year ago to work as an English teacher, and I have loved living here for the past 4 months!!!! I will be here until June, but I definitely will renew my contract and work in Spain for another year :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing seems like a great way to meet locals, and who better than a local, to show you a local delicacy, or tell you of the best places to see. It is also a way for the person hosting you to learn a little about where one is from, so in doing this it enables people to travel without even leaving their homes :)

Interests

I really, just as many people who are using this site, enjoy traveling. Learning about different languages and cultures has always been an interest of mine, so being a part of this community has definitely opened many doors to explore. I also enjoy taking photos of amazing places that inspire me, or of places that simply take my breath away.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Two Door Cinema Club, Clean Bandit, Kings of Convenience, John Mayer, Foster the People, Jason Mraz, Chromeo, Justin Nozuka, Avicii, Calvin Harris and many more.

Movies: I enjoy mainly Horror films, but I definitely enjoy comedy, action, romcom and many more.

Books: I love the classics, but I also enjoy some good science fiction as well :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years back I went to Japan for a couple of months to learn Japanese. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. The people I met, the sights I saw and the food I had were some of the most unique things I have ever encountered and experienced.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, Learn, Share is a perfect way to describe what Couchsurfing is meant to do. You teach someone a little bit about yourself (culture, language, traditions) and, in exchange, the host learns and shares a little bit about themselves.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share the experience that I have gained throughout my travels, and also my life. I am very open to learning about different people, languages, foods and cultures. I would also be open to letting you know more about where I come from and the traditions, foods and anything else that may interest you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Netherlands, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Japan, Mexico, Spain, United States
