About Me

I am a musician (mainly a drummer) based in Montréal, Canada. I have been giving the great opportunity to tour and travel across this beautiful country of mine and now the next step to take the music abroad and tour overseas!

I am a very laid back and easy going guy. I love to share stories, laugh, and meet new interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best thing about touring across Canada was the people who hosted us along the way. Many were friends of friends, and we couch surfed a few times as well. I now have a deep appreciation for those who host travellers. These people are excited to bring you into their home and show some hospitality. I found this generosity to be a bit of magic while travelling. Currently, I am about to embark on an Ireland, UK, and mainland Europe tour in a two-piece band. We especially need accommodations in the U.K. and hope to meet some amazing people who help make this tour possible!

Interests

Music! Science, philosophy, history, learning in general.

I like learning about people's talents and having them show me the intricacies of their work.

Music, Movies, and Books

So much music! Rock and Jazz mainly, but I am open to many styles....to name a few: Beatles, Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, Tame Impala, White Denim, Arctic Monkeys, Wilco, Radiohead, Flaming Lips, the list goes on and on.

I enjoy challenging books and movies that make you think, show you new perspectives, and display talent and handwork. Recently enjoyed Birdman and Whiplash. I love documentaries as well, especially on musicians. Favourite book: Infinite Jest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Toured coast to coast across Canada (twice actually). Dipped my feet in both the Pacific and Atlantic ocean.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am generally a quiet fellow, mild mannered and clean. I can easily give a host their space and keep to myself quite comfortably, but also love meeting new people and sharing experiences and forming strong new friendships. I am a good cook and would enjoy coking something up if time allows!
