About Me

I'm a 26 year old about to move to Ann Arbor, MI! In 2014, I graduated with a B.S. in industrial engineering and an M.S. in finance from RPI (little engineering school in upstate New York).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To try it out - I just joined! I love the philosophy of sharing one's home, traveling cheaply, and paying it forward. And I dislike the idea of universal "stranger danger" and assuming the worst about people you haven't met yet.

Interests

I'm very passionate about music— I love to sing, play guitar, and compose music on my computer (Ableton mostly). I also love running, lifting, yoga, meditation, amateur travel hacking, writing, and reading (mostly personal development stuff).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In February, I quit my job. In March, I paraglided off of a mountain over the city of Medellin, Colombia. In April, I did a 10 day meditation retreat. May has some big shoes to fill.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach piano, guitar, personal finance, and writing. I'm an amateur cook but I'd love to learn more about it. If there are any musicians out there, let's jam.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook somewhat well, move heavy things, serenade you with a guitar, and tidy up your place if you like (I'm a professional clean-freak). I can also kick back and have a beer!
