Overview
About Me
We are two friends (also a couple): Judit a psychologist from Spain and Mike a musician from UK, although those are careers which haven't really got started yet :). Having spent some time living in the big city of London we are interested in another way of living which gives us time and space to think and do what we want to do, really connect to people instead of superficially, and live better more positive lives.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet and have contact with people, understand other cultures and other people, share something, travel a different way, and help other people to do the same.
Interests
Arts, music, learning, meeting people, hitchhiking, understanding the world, trying to love everybody, finding that difficult sometimes :). How humans can live together better in the world and how we can help that to happen, communities, vegetarian food, self-development, sharing...
Mike: I love and play music (the piano), particularly jazz at the moment. I also like to meditate, which helps me to connect to myself, calm down and see a bit deeper into what's going on in my life.
I have a love-hate relationship with technology - on the one hand it comes naturally to me and I find it interesting, and I think it can help us a lot to share of information and to communicate. On the other hand I think it takes me out of reality and away from myself. I want to find a balance between the two.
I like to spend time alone, but also relish connecting closely with other people. I love spending time in nature whenever possible, and traveling freely.
At the moment we are looking for somewhere to live in Órgiva or around - we want to spend time studying, playing music, practising art and being in nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year we traveled back to Europe from Thailand by land, hitchhiking most of the last part of the way from Istanbul to France. It was really cool to see the cultures change slowly as we approached Europe, and briefly connect with so many warm and friendly people who picked us up.
Teach, Learn, Share
Music, jazz, piano, Spanish, English. Judit would like to learn kung fu.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We would be very happy to cook you a vegetarian dinner :). We also want to share our experiences, positivity, laughter, and silence - sometimes it's nice to share silence too.
