About Me

I am 20 (almost 21 years old) and I am studying German Language and Literature as well as European History for my bachelor's at SUNY Oswego in Oswego NY. I am studying at the University of Bonn in Bonn, NRW, Germany from September 2016 to August 2017 and I want to travel and see all of Europe! I love meeting new people and seeing new things, as well as getting recommendations from locals. I don't want to get myself into tourist traps, instead I would rather get lost and explore and see things to appreciate them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to save money, but also learn more about the people of Germany and other European countries in order to gain some insight on what makes them so special and better than America (in my opinion, I think Europe IS better than America).

Interests

Feel free to send me a message or contact me about my interests! I can explain them better and I would love to get to know anyone better!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wrote a letter to Egon Krenz, former General Secretary of the German Democratic Republic, and got a response...aiming to interview him sometime between September 2016 and August 2017.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English, German, and help with history (depending on the subject). I have studied German, American, and Soviet histories so far, as well as certain world subjects such as Africa and other European nations. I want to continue practicing German and getting better at it, as it's my goal to teach German in America or teach English in Germany someday!
