Other people would say really nice things about me, sometimes so nice I think they might be secretly making fun of me, but they swear it's true, apparently, I'm a good person.

I like to have a laugh and explore new things. Could be people, places or ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like helping out other people, and I've certainly been helped out plenty in both life and travels. There's lots of good in the world, I like to think I try to add to it.

Interests

I'm into anything outdoors, especially camping, hiking, mountain biking and dabbling in kayaking. I'm a football fan (but not as much as I used to be), dabbled with Karate and now learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I like cycling, commute to work every day, cycle toured locally and across Europe, hope to do a bikepacking trip off road soon.

I'm also into indoors things, seen the inside of more than a few pubs and breweries especially when I used to live in the UK. Gardening is limited to flower pots at the moment. I love to cook and I'm a 'vegetable enthusiast' (not vegetarian), Also a big fan of making desserts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Arrested Development is my favourite show, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is my favourite movie, and Rascal is my favourite book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycling from England to Turkey (in a very zig-zag route) is a life highlight. Also, the first time I went swimming in tropical waters, my brain couldn't comprehend how there could be an entire ocean of body temperature water.

I used to coach (football aka soccer) and I love seeing that moment when kids grasp concepts they've been struggling with.
