Overview
About Me
Hi!
My name is Mike and I recently graduated college and became a communications officer in the United States Marine Corps. I love playing guitar, reading about philosophy, psychology, travel, science, nature and anything about people. I like doing random things, being spontaneous, and having fun. I'm becoming a huge fan of the "off the beaten path" kind of traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to go meet tons of different and interesting people, go everywhere, and learn about how awesome people are all over the world!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like every type of music. I grew up on rock and roll and expanded into rap, R&B, soul, reggae, Jack Johnson type stuff, and everything else. I love reading anything about people like psychology, philosophy, and religion. I have Netflix and have seen almost all the documentaries, and I'm a huge fan of stand up comedians like Bill Burr, Louis C.K., and Tom Segura, and I'm into cerebral independent movies as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've road tripped solo across the United States a couple of times to get from coast to coast for college, and hiked a small portion of the Appalachian Trail in Georgia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach guitar and I'm open to talk about anything and love learning about all kinds of stuff.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a friendly, polite guest that can help out around the house, probably fix some things, help cook, etc.
