About Me
I was born in Cambridge, England but have lived in New York City since I was 3 years old. Having frequently gone back to England to visit family I've been an avid traveler since I was a kid and have always loved seeing new countries and learning about new cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a wide range of music, but if I had to pick one genre it'd probably Indie Rock.
Favorite movies are Space Jam, The Sandlot and Gladiator. The first two may not be the best, but they're always a good time.
And while I don't read as much as I would like too, three of my favorite books are Fever Pitch, A Walk in the Woods and The Social Animal.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On of my favorite travel experiences was visiting Dubai on a short study abroad program. Through the schools program we got to see amazing luxuries (Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa, "The World", The Emirates Palace) but also some more culturally focused trips like visiting the Souks and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
But probably the most fun I had was staying up all night talking to some new friends during a trip to the desert and watch the sun rise, and then the next day riding ATVs over sand dunes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've always enjoyed meeting new people and learning about their cultures and perspectives on things. At the very least, hope I can offer some interesting conversation!
