About Me

One of the things that most people are shocked about when I tell them, is that I just got my passport at the age of 33! 32 years of my life of not going out of the country at all, and experience what the rest of the world is like. Well, I finally have my passport, and am ready to get out of the bubble that is Los Angeles. =)

I'm an extremely personable individual, and I easily get along with most people. I'd also like to think that I'm easy going, and just about go with the flow with what's put in front of me. I don't see a point in getting stressed out over the little things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to look into Couchsurfing for a couple of reasons:

1) Since I'm an extroverted person, I always look forward to meeting new people and making new friends! =) As I mentioned earlier, I get along very easily with others.

2) Who better to tell you about where you're traveling, than a local them self? As far as I'm concerned, I feel like they would make the best guides on where to visit, what to eat, or what to do.

So the friend of mine who told me about Couchsurfing, was also a host several times when we lived together. I was able to meet people from out of country because of this and I found it to be a fun experience. These experiences also added to my interest and desire to start doing it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music! Music connects people on such a deeper level. Some of the genres I enjoy are: Trance (!), dubstep, house, deep house, classical, jazz, blues, alternative rock, r&b and some country. Currently though, I mainly listen to EDM (trance, dubstep, house, deep house, etc.). Some of my favorite DJ's are Kaskade, Cosmic Gate, Armin Van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Above & Beyond, Seven Lions, Adventure Club, Cazzette. I've been to my fair share of festivals and have seen so many DJ's.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so of course movie wise I'm really into the ORIGINAL Star Wars Trilogy. The prequels were bad movies, with some good parts.

Some of my favorite video games are Dota 2, Civilization (playing 6 atm), Dragon Age(Origins and Inquisition), Baldur's Gate, the various Final Fantasy's (especially 3 and 7), and Mario Kart. This is just to name a "few" of course haha.

I'm really into anime, so just name it and there's a good chance I've seen it. =)

When I'm not nerding out, I like to be physically active whether its working out at the gym, playing volleyball, or taking a good hike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So I recently went skydiving for the first time. It was such an exhilarating experience! I'm def going to do it more often in the future, to the point where I'm making dives on my own on a regular basis. =)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always trying to learn new things. My mentality is that if you're not constantly learning, you're not growing and you become stagnant. I'm at a stage in my life where I'm always trying to be better than I was the day before.
