I've travelled 60 countries in the world, and count myself fortunate to be from and living in Southern California. Around Los Angeles I can take you to some of the coolest cultural pockets for food and entertainment. I'm a Dad whose kid is much cooler than me - she's 19 at SMC. I'm travelling to Europe occasionally and look to find off the beaten path places to visit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a visitor to Europe I'm looking visit with locals to get a better understanding of their culture and to see the places that most people don't see. I want to take these positive experiences back to my friends and family to help build connections for us all to make the world a smaller, better place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a visit to New York, I lied about being a journalist in order to get into the David Letterman Show -- I did interview the producers and writers but never wrote an article. But I got front row on the show and my family back home saw me.
