Grew up on a small Midwest farm while knowing there was more to explore. I've lived in the Caribbean and the Arctic and recently quit my job to see more of the world. It's scary but exciting and I'm ready for the next phase.

I'm comfortable in the outdoors and have completed many solo trips for extended periods in true wilderness. I also harvest my own meat, and think that link to nature is sacred and a basis for conservation around the world.
