Overview
About Me
I worked in high tech for a long time, over 30 years, as a software developer and as engineering management in the satellite and fiber optics communications. Once I semi-retired, I started doing more writing and editing and dabbling again with microprocessors and such. Love to hike, be outdoors and travel. Love to meet new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mainly to try it out at first and if it works for me, use it to hit the road some more and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a wide variety of music, movies and books. I do love the old sixties and seventies music, some hard rock, folk, some classical, some show tunes and will give anything a chance. Not too crazy about most rap. I have been in six movies as an extra and three TV shows as an extra. I read over 100 books a year and a pretty wide variety.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have four great children and I hiked over 1100 miles the year I turned 65.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have helped lots of people with their writing, fiction or nonfiction, in an editing role.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've been to most of the states in the U.S. and over 20 other countries so I have a few stories to tell. I'm also a decent cook on the grill or in the kitchen.
