About Me
I'm newly retired, after working in catering all my life. I have two sons 24 Physicist, second 20, currently in Whistler BC, My wife died 8 years ago.
l spent most of my twenties hitching around the world, working in Aussie and NZ, also on private Yachts.
I have been Home exchanging for the last four years, and will be doing so three more times this year. 9 weeks in July / August and then l leave for 4-5 years to travel from September 2015.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always enjoyed meeting new people from interesting countries, and as l will be travelling for 4-5 years l thought it would be useful to me when l am visiting new areas.

I can teach Vegetarian Cooking, as well as other styles of Asian cooking, the amazing smells and textures of Indonesian cooking are stunning.

What I Can Share with Hosts
As l've now visited about 48 countries, and lived for a fair time in some of them, l have a bit of knowledge to impart, given half a chance. A good repertoire of Jokes, A good knowledge of North Norfolk thus being able to act as a guide.
