I'm a journalism & political science graduate from Belgium. I have been travelling on and off for almost 6 years, spending most of the time in Australia and New Zealand.

I'm always in for some good music, an enjoyable night out, a movie or a delicious vegan meal. On my music blog I combine two of my passions: writing & electronic music.

I love adventures, travelling and exploring the world, experiencing how people live elsewhere, and of course, having a good time along the way.

I love meeting new people. When I'm travelling I like to get submerged in local culture and if I'm not on the go I like to help out other travellers.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: my musical taste is rather eclectic, though I have a slight preference for (psychedelic) rock and electronic music, or a combination of both. Arctic Monkeys, Soulwax, Kasabian, Goose, dEUS, Daft Punk, Tiga, LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala, Miami Horror, Justice, Phoenix, MGMT, The Black Keys, Empire Of The Sun, Brodinski & The XX are amongst my favorite artists.

MOVIES: I also have a broad taste when it comes to movies. I love watching a good blockbuster, but just as much I can enjoy watching a more alternative or a B movie. Some of my favorites are Bowling For Columbine, Cidade de Deus, Donnie Brasco, Mulholland Drive, Lost In Translation, Amores Perros, The Edukators, Y tu mamá también, Persepolis & Into The Wild.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*5000km road trip through the Australian outback
*dive in the Great Barrier Reef
*skydive in Byron Bay
*finished a great alpine walk (55km) with a broken hand (NZ)
*walked 100km in 29.5 hours to raise money for Oxfam
*Abel Tasman Great Walk (NZ)
