Loves playing and listening to music, especially Irish fiddling, "folk-rock", and film music, passionate about entrepreneurship, marketing, technology, family, parenting, has an awesome sense of humor, meditates daily, always looking at the bright side, enjoys playing outdoors, reading, exchanging ideas with brilliant, creative people, avid about health and fitness, has a regular yoga practice, and is sometimes not an all-bad dancer...

PHILOSOPHY

We create this amazing dance called life, and how we envision, with a little effort, is how it turns out. The wonder is in the journey, the ever evolving creation. You need to be open, willing to risk and explore to enjoy and appreciate it fully, and ultimately to love it wholly.

Interests

I love my work as a copywriter, business owner and marketing consultant, but I also love playing music alone and with friends, cycling, swimming, reading and learning, watching movies, travel, doing volunteer work on various committees, being a dad, making and keeping in touch with friends and family, meditating, cooking nutritious meals and getting out in nature every day. Having won and lost a small fortune as a real estate investor, I'm also keenly interested in making money and investing.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of books I've read and would love to read, but a few that come to mind are One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey, Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, to name but a few...

I love biographies of business leaders including Buffett, Pickens, Jobs, Ogilvy, Franklin, (Dan) Kennedy and others, spiritual leaders, including Gandhi and Mother Theresa and humorists including Twain, Steve Martin, Woody Allen, Dave Barry (showing my age...)

I'm in awe of artists like Stephane Grapelli, Mark O'Connor, Kevin Burke, Martin Hayes, Liz Carroll, Bob Dylan, Sting, Paul Simon, Loreena McKennitt, Sarah McLachlan, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and many, many others

I also love great adventure, comedy and love story films from Charlie Chaplin to How The West Was Won to The English Patient to Pirates of the Carribean...

Sometimes imagine myself as a sort of Indiana Jones...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing each of my sons graduate from High School, watching Mark O'Connor win the National Fiddle Championships in Weiser, Idaho, seeing Star Wars when it first came out, Disneyland, various rock-climbing, cycling, and music-making adventures, building the house my family and I lived in for 20 years and... my very first meditation.
