ABOUT ME

We are a married couple living in Addis and teaching at an international school. We're now on our 7th year of teaching (already?!) and plan to continue living internationally because of the $$, the great people and rich experiences!

PHILOSOPHY

We try to eat as much cheddar cheese and ice cream as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We hope to get an insiders look at the places and communities where we are hosted. We hope to use our professional background and hobbies to reciprocate the generosity of our potential hosts as well as return the favor when people come into our neighborhood.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While living in Senegal for the past three years, we always had family, friends or travelers staying in our spare bedroom. We loved hosting people, hooking them up with friends, local knowledge, and swapping stories. We haven't formally stayed with any couch surfer but have met plenty while traveling.

Interests

Ultimate Frisbee, surfing, film making, photography, education, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, green energy, politics, dancing, traveling, running, scuba diving, snorkeling, and doing basically anything that provides an enriching life experience physically, intellectually, and emotionally.
