ABOUT ME

Hey. My name is Mike. I am 26 years old and I grew up in South Carolina. I started travelling in May last year, I spent 5 months in the San Francisco Bay Area, then went back across the country to New Orleans where I am now. I travel with my banjo and suitcase drum, busking along the way. I take any kind of ride I can get, be it a plane, hitch hiking, trains, whatever's clever.

PHILOSOPHY

I think everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential of life without being marginalized or oppressed by others for any reason. I believe in recognizing the mistreatment of others and living in resistance to it.

Not so much yet, but I plan on using it more in Europe.

兴趣

Music is my favorite thing. I like playing and going to shows more than anything else. I'll go see any band pretty much. I'll have my banjo with me too, we'll play some tunes.

Other interests include being outside, having engaging and thought-provoking conversations with anyone about anything, and cooking. Cooking has been my source of income ever since I could start working 11 years ago. I have my reservations about work, but I believe in taking care of myself as well.

The best decision I have made with my life is to record and play music live. This has afforded me a wealth of good stories and experiences, and I intend to do it for the rest of my life.
