About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"It is better to travel well than to arrive at the right destination."

ABOUT ME

I believe that the past and the future is nonexistent and the only moment that matters is the present, so I don't believe this is the place for my life story. Although I do, in fact, have plenty of stories to tell if and when we meet.

I'm very open to meeting new people and trying to enjoy any and every situation and encounter. I love to share travel and CouchSurfing stories, and I am always up for the task of cooking my host a nice meal!

PHILOSOPHY

"We are living in a culture entirely hypnotized by the illusion of time, in which the so-called present moment is felt as nothing but an infinitesimal hairline between an all-powerfully causative past and an absorbingly important future. We have no present. Our consciousness is almost completely preoccupied with memory and expectation. We do not realize that there never was, is, nor will be any other experience than present experience. We are therefore out of touch with reality. We confuse the world as talked about, described, and measured with the world which actually is. We are sick with a fascination for the useful tools of names and numbers, of symbols, signs, conceptions and ideas."

Alan Watts

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting real people and sharing interesting stories and experiences, talking about life and philosophy, and making friends around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time was in Barcelona and it will be a memory I will never forget. I learned the true meaning of Couchsurfing - to meet locals and learn about their culture when visiting a new and foreign place. Especially to see things that you would never see without having met them. It is an amazing idea and a great way to experience traveling to the fullest.

Another great experience for me was in Morocco, I don't know what I would have done alone there but the people I stayed with taught me something not just about their culture, but about enjoying life in general... and also some great recipes!
